Malwarebytes Firewall

By /u/kelsey_41375

Today, I was asked to externally pen test my interning company’s internal network. I conducted a few Nmap scans and brute forcing a vulnerability, but every time I tried anything, their Malwarebytes firewall blocked my Kali VM’s IP. Now, I’m trying to learn more about the firewall, how it works, and its vulnerabilities/exploits, but I can’t find any information online. Do any of you have any resources I could look at or any insight on them? Any help would be much appreciated!!

This URL is the most informative source I’ve been able to find so far (I needed an attachment to post this thread)

For context, I’m a cybersecurity student in my junior year, and I’m interning this summer at a small local tech company. I have full permission to conduct pen testing, and openly present all of my findings.

Emotions as human detection & defence

By /u/DiabloHorn

With this blog post my goal is not to raise awareness, but to provide people with a tool that they can use to defend themselves from attacks when technological measures fail or are not properly configured as well as analog scams or other fraudulent attempts. I’ve also come to the conclusion that maybe it’s not so much about what you know about attacks, but how you FEEL when being attacked, that can make the difference between becoming a victim or not.

By /u/Material-Tonight8924

Hi,

Recently, I was working on an article on Medium platform about WiFi penetration testing using the tool Freeway.

It's completely free to read, and takes only 10 minutes of your time, while you can surely learn a lot, whether you are beginner or a professional.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
